Sir Emmett needs our help
UB Official statement: Sir Emmett is in critical condition arising from complications of his previous conditions (multiple strokes, vascular dementia, aortic aneurysm). He is currently at BGHMC ICU.
The following is the message from Vixienne Calulut (UBSHS Class 1993) sent through the Facebook group of the UB Science High School Alumni.
We paid a visit yesterday, and found him being transfused with blood. He was in pain from his bedsores and barely opened his eyes. His speech was also incoherent, but visits from the Science High family lifts his spirits. We encourage everyone who can drop by the hospital to do so. Please take note of the visiting hours - 11am-12nn and 3pm-7pm. Visitors are limited to 2-3 at a time.
Thank you to those who responded to the blood donation call. The 6-liter requirement was met and we have a couple of bags in reserve. In the event that more blood will be needed, we will post a shoutout again. For those who would want to donate but are not of the same blood type, a replacement will still be accepted as long as the bloodbank has a supply of Type O in its pool.
Sir Emmett will celebrate his birthday on Tuesday, March 3. He needs our prayers, support, and care. He also needs financial assistance. His medicines, hospital bills, and other fees are increasing by the day. Please continue spreading the word to your batchmates and to the other members of the Science High family. If you have ideas for fund-raising activities, you can post them here so we can help pull numbers. Different modes of communication - text, email, word of mouth - are used to get the message across. If you know members of the Science High who can facilitate such activities, please let them know. It will be much appreciated.

ATTENTION: UBSHS Legatus Class 2007
Members of UB Science High School Class 2007, please be informed that there are several profiles lacking from your annual. The Legatus Yearbook cannot be completed because of this. There are still 19 alumni without profiles, please get in touch with your Prime Minister, Reginald Rapuso, for the complete list of your batchmates that do not have profiles written for them.
The 19 do not need to write the profiles themselves, it is suggested that a small group (or even just 1 or 2 persons) write the profiles for them. We need 1 paragraph with 4-5 sentences. You may email the completed profiles to .
